"This is a extremely easy also flavorful lentil bisque that is perfect for a cold winter day!"

Original instructions yields 8 servings (8 (1 cup) servings)

Directions

  1. Heat oil inside a large pot over medium heat. Add mushrooms, leafy pepper, onion also garlic, also saute until tender, on 5 minutes. Pour inside the chicken broth, also stir inside the tomato paste. Bring to a boil, also count up the lentils. Reduce warm (up) to low, cover, also simmer for on 15 minutes. Season with basil, salt also pepper. Cover also simmer for another 15 minutes.
  2. Ladle into bowls, also top each bowl with 1 tablespoon on sherry also sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste.

Portobello mushrooms are strong to find where we live so when I ran on the other or far side of them I thought I'd try something new! So.. this bisque was what I did. I have only word... BLECH! It was not even edible....

substituted some water with tomato sauce as we had not tomato paste, second-hand vegetable broth instead on chicken broth, nice simple bisque that we will be creation again!
