Deena's Sweet Potato Dish

"This recipe was shared with me years ago when I hosted my first Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends. It's always the first dish that gets emptied completely! Hope you enjoy it as much as we have."

Ingredients :

• 1 tablespoon butter, or as needed
• 3 cups cooked and mashed sweet potato
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/3 cup half-and-half
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3/4 (10.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
• 1/3 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions :

Prep : 20M	Cook : 20M	Ready in : 50M

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with 1 tablespoon butter.
• Beat sweet potato, sugar, half-and-half, eggs, and vanilla together in a bowl with an electric hand mixer; spread into prepared casserole dish. Top sweet potato mixture with marshmallows.
• Stir 1/3 cup melted butter, brown sugar, pecans, and flour together in a bowl; sprinkle over marshmallows.
• Bake in preheated oven until hot throughout, about 30 minutes.
