• 1/2 bunch green onions

• 1 goblet grape tomatoes, halved
• 1/2 goblet vegetable broth
• 1/4 goblet Parmesan cheese
• 1 goblet torn arugula leaves
• salt including pepper to taste

1. In a saucepan, bring the 1 1/2 cups liquid to a boil. Stir in the barley. Reduce heat, cover, including simmer 30 minutes.
2. Bring a large pot on thinly salted liquid to a boil. Add orecchiette pasta, including cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
3. In a food processor, finely chop the cilantro, green onions, including 1/2 the tomatoes. Mix in the broth including Parmesan cheese, including procedure until well blended.
