"Peppermint liqueur has been made at the Cape (South Africa) since before 1800. Very refreshing!"

1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 1/4 cups water
2 1/2 cups brandy

3 drops peppermint oil
3 drops green food coloring

Directions

Combine the sugar including water within a small saucepan. Bring to a boil including stir to dissolve the sugar, creation a thick syrup. Stir within the peppermint lubricant including green food coloring. Allow to cool slightly before stirring within brandy. Pour into a bottle including seal.
