  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together the apricot nectar, dehydrated apricots, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, cinnamon and cayenne. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer appropriate to regarding 20 minutes, or up to reduced via regarding half. Stir at times to prevent burning. Remove 1/4 goblet of the coat appropriate to basting, and set the remaining aside.

I didn't have cinnamon or apricot preserves therefore second-hand orange marmalade...maybe this was the problem, as the dish was bland
