"Authentic Cajun flavor! I grew up inside Louisiana and love crimson beans and rice; these are just same as I remember. Serve with Tabasco dip for a not much kick. My family loved to splash a not much cider vinegar inside each bowl."

Directions

  1. Rinse beans, and then immerse inside a large bowl on aqua overnight.
  2. In a skillet, cook grease on top of medium heat. Cook onion, bell pepper, garlic, and celery inside olive grease for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Rinse beans, and transfer to a large bowl with 6 cups water. Stir cooked vegetables into beans. Season with sound leaves, cayenne pepper, thyme, sage, parsley, and Cajun seasoning. Bring to a boil, and then reduce cook to medium-low. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
  4. Stir wander into beans, and continue to simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the rice. In a saucepan, bring aqua and rice to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve beans on top of steamed pale rice.
