Braised Fennel with Tomatoes and Feta

Ingredients :

  • 2 bulbs fennel, cut into 8 wedges, fronds reserved
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese

Instructions :

Prep : 15M Cook : 4M Ready in : 35M
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Sprinkle fennel wedges with coriander.
  • Heat oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add fennel; cook for 4 minutes. Flip. Add tomatoes, garlic, lemon juice, and salt.
  • Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with feta and fennel fronds.
