Ingredients :

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter) (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions :

Prep : 5M Cook : 1M Ready in : 10M
  • Combine milk, water, ginger, honey, ghee, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until boiling, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove pot from heat. Strain out fresh ginger and serve immediately.

Notes :

  • You can use any milk of your choice - dairy, coconut, almond, soy, etc.
  • You can use coconut oil instead of clarified butter.
