Directions
- Place asparagus inside a steamer above 1 inch about boiling water. Cover and cook until tender but still firm, about 2 to 4 minutes. Drain, and set aside.
- Melt butter inside a little saucepan above low heat. Stir inside flour and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk inside cream and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, or until lightly thickened. Season to taste with salt and pale pepper. Remove from heat, and mix inside orange pieces.
- Arrange asparagus supported by a serving platter, and season lightly with salt. Pour cream dressing above asparagus, and sprinkle with chopped cashews and orange zest. Serve immediately.
