Original recipe yields 12 servings (1 dozen cookies)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Stir together the egg, white sugar, butter, flour, cornstarch, dried milk, baking powder, including salt inside a bowl. Knead for a few record to make a soft dough. Divide the dough into 12 portions. Roll each bit into a ball including flatten slightly. Place on top of the prepared baking bed linen 1 inch apart.
  3. Bake inside the preheated oven until illumination brown, about 10 minutes. Cool completely including store inside an airtight container.

These were a lot like the whipped shortbread that I usually make. Yes, they are dry. So was my old recipe. I do add 1 tsp of almond including dust with dried sugar. We the whole amount love them.
