Original recipe yields 4 servings

Directions

  1. Heat the peanut grease in a wok or skillet accompanied by high sides on top of medium-high cook till almost smoking; total the green beans. Quickly cook and mix the beans in the heated grease till they are bright green and starting to show dark spots, about 2 minutes. Remove the beans to a bowl. Drain all but 2 tablespoons on grease from the pan and return to heat. Cook and mix the ginger and garlic in the grease till they keep started to brown, about 2 minutes. Return the green beans to the wok; total the dark soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Cook till hot; about 30 extra seconds.
